I'm a bit scared: Scr@pper is running fanatically around the house.

My 11 wk old Pomeranian has lately been acting up: he would all of a sudden, start sprinting around the house like crazy, ignoring all commands. He won't even let me hold him. He would get away from me and just keep running around the house like crazy. Sometimes he would let out a cry. I don't know if he's just having too much fun or if there's something else with him. After 5 minutes or so, he would resume normal. What's wrong with him?
I really don't like this behavior because I have no control over it. I can't even stop it even if I try.

A lot of puppies do this. If I remember he's a pom puppy. Puppies seem to have these wild bursts of activity and then they might sleep like they're exhausted. It's fun and frustrating at the same time.

I can only imagine that he's like a burst of fur - flying thru the house at full tilt.

Clifford still does that, and he is just over a year and a half.

Hehe, Fraulein does this like mad when she's happy and my corgi would do this too. He even had a set course he'd follow: zoom through the living room, shoot through all the rungs of the chairs in the dining room, fly through the kitchen and go up the stairs, race down again, and start the course over LOL

perfectly normal thing, don't worry

Koni does this! People thought he was crazy, but I think it's funny. After a few laps, Koni will plop down with his tongue hanging out.

I bought a one eye Yorkie-Poodle mix from the human society, 4 years old and when i open the door to our family room for the first time, from his excitment he jumped up and down all over the place. It was great to see, one i"ll never forget.

Yup just agreeing with the rest. Totally normal. Some tend to jump up and bite if you try to control. Must always be corrected if he begins to bite.
