Can anyone guess these two?

Can anyone guess these two? The black is a purebred and the red is a mix.

DARN (LOL) I forgot I wrote that Oh well...... yeah these are two of mine. About the red one though, I would appreciate anyone guessing on what you think. I found her at a gas station about 10 years ago and I've finally decided that she looks most like the rottie/bullmastiff mix. I once saw a picture of a bullmastiff someone bought and they said it was only pet quality cause it didn't have the bully's head and it looked exactly like her! What do you guys think?

Here's Lady's pup, Koda. I still call him that even though he's almost 9 this year.

I would say a long haired german shepherd but they tend to have longer coats.

The mix, body proportions are telling me Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix.

How big is she? A Rott/Mastiff would be... pretty huge.

American Staffordshire:

I don't know how tall she is maybe I'll do that tomorrow. She weighed 100lbs the last time I had her at the vet and she's pretty much the same weight. She's not overweight either.

It's so sad, I've had her for about 10 years and she's been the best dog. She is 11 now and really not doing very well. I've got her on joint pills (glucosamine) every day and rimadyl from the vet everyday. Hopefully once it starts getting warmer she'll do better. She has arthritis really bad in her hips. I think it's cause she had such a hard life before I got her.

I found her at a gas station almost dead from starvation. Once I got her home and she settled in I figured out she had been abused badly. She is extremely afraid of men.

a rottie/mastiff mix would weigh around or over 150 lbs.
I would say staffie mix too.

i think she looks more like the bullmastiff, not the mastiff. A mastiff can weigh up to 190lb, but both the rotties and the bullmastiffs weigh a lot less than that. A rottie's weight range is 90-110lbs and the bullmastiffs is 90-130lbs. Females are always smaller than the males, so I would guess that this puts her at about the right weight for a mix of these two. Her pup weighs 125lbs and he's a male, so he's about right too.

A Staffordshire Bull Terrier weighs up to about 40 lbs, so I really don't think that could be her.

I've been guessing ever since I got her. It's been fun I've thought so many things, lets see...... lab, pitbull, boxer (anyone see that???)
