In 2007, 11,218 ribbons were added to the map, which triggered a donation of $3,782.75 from Merial to be divided equally between the Petfinder.com Foundation and the
American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF). Since 2005, through a number of different initiatives, Merial has contributed more than $3 million to the
Petfinder.com Foundation and the AVMF through the Paws to Save Pets™ program.
