Angry Stupidity continues to amaze me

Someone put an ad on craigslist for their Great Dane that they can no longer keep because it eats too much. Really? It's a uhh GREAT DANE, what do you expect?

Oh then they continue to explain that they think the dog has worms and they can't afford to treat it. Oh, my mistake, it eats a lot because it's A GREAT DANE WITH WORMS!!!! Don't get a Great Dane if you can't afford to feed it and can't even treat it for worms, treatment would probably cost less than a day's worth of food for a Dane. Here's the ad if it's still up http://oklahomacity.craigslist.org/pet/531304356.html

At least I was able to see it and reported it to the local Dane rescue. They were great and are working with the owner about the Dane now.

I don't know why people get animals for. Don't they know that they need to eat and go to the vet. Some people just don't make no sences.

What don't people understand?.....the names like GREAT Dane, or Mastiff, Or GREAT Pyr....there is a reason why these dogs have these names!

To me it looks like this dog is emmaciated also.

Yep....nine cents short of a dime!

I was thinking that too, but couldn't really tell from the bad picture. I hope they are really cooperative with the rescue and let them take care of him.

It is a good thing you saw this and notified the rescue. I hope they find this poor baby a good home.

Dumb people, she seems like she may co-operate with the rescue though. She said she wants someone with dane experience so the rescue may be great help to her. She sounds like he was a impulse get from the pound. she knew nothing and just liked him so got him not knowing what he needs.
