Skinny Dane Part 2

well John (hubby) and I went dog food shopping yesterday one of the ladys from Great Dane Rescue E-mail us a dog food grader I think we looked at the back of every bag of food inth store . We went with Canidae ($$ ouch lol) but it scored really high on the grader and all my muttlys can have it so its ok.

We took Nala to the park yesterday it was great fun for all. All the kids loved her ... but I must say some of the parents were a scaired that she would eat them. One man said she was a pony in a dog suit.

I'm starting a basic training couse with her as soon as I can find one in our area. She knows down but sit is a chanege to her but she is figuring it out.

Great choice on Canidae. What store in your area carries it?

You will soon get VERY sick of all the horse comments.

our feed store beleive it or not .. Petco might carry it but we don't go there as they hurt out lil Fizgig and I tote a gruge lol

This is great to hear, it sounds like she is having fun! Don't feel bad, everyone makes the pony comments about my Mel all the time

I don't think Petco carries Canidae, at least they don't down here. I have to drive 30 minutes to a groomer that carries it! Great food by the way, well worth the extra bucks.

its a great food my girls are on it and doing wonderfully...from what i hear from dane owners the horse comments loose the funny charm quickly lol
