Maltipoo Charlie update

For those who wondered how Charlie's surgery went. New findings.

To recap. He was an owner surrender that was emaciated, matted a peeing blood.

He has been gaining weight, is professionally groomed now and is neutered. They suspected gall stones but that wasn't his problem. He had a birth defect where his bladder is not where it should be. They have 2 consultations set up to figure out where to go from here.

Meanwhile, he is doing fantasitc! I am so pleased this family found and adopted this very sweet little guy!

Oh poor bub, hope everything turns out okay for him. Thankfully he's *finally* in loving hands.

There is a feed store here that imports pups from the mills of the midwest every Tuesday and I asked if that's where she got him from. I asked because many that come from there have health issues <duh>.
She said he did not come from there but rather a private home out of town that breeds maltipoos. Wonder if there are others from their litters with the same fate as Charlie has???
Either senario is just not good though... What angers me is that these thoughless people and business' leave it up to others to emotionally, physically and financially clean up their poopy results

On the upside, thank goodness for those that are there to help out these innocents like Amy and Michael!!!

And this is him with his new family about 2 weeks later! It's going to take some time but the improvements already are simply heartwarming to me!
