Dog that chews nails

Anyone elses dog do this? Our foxie does this but usually when his nails are getting long

Yup, Wu's always chewed her nails...even when they are short, now Hartley does it *sigh*

Femka does- but same reason- but its always like barely too long. I use a dremmel now and she does it less now.. After all- any 'lady' would love a good manicure..

Pippy chews her back ones and her front dews.

First long coated chihuahua did this after getting her nails clipped the first time...never had to do her nails again. All I would have to say is that I'm getting the nail clippers...LOL..and she'd run off to take care of her nails.

Ginger trims hers herself thank goodness! She had a nail hurt really badly before she came my way and is nearly impossible to handle her feet still.

When I had my buddy's dog Mary here for a while, she did the same thing. I think she taught Ginger as I'd never seen it before and Ginger never did it until Mary was around for 4 months!

Wish they'd all do it so I didn't have to

Koni does this too. He nibbles on it more than anything though.
