When Sophie comes home from the op. today, how groggy will she be? I know this must sound silly comming from me, but honestly none of my dogs have had an anesethic so deep in the last 10 or so years, so I have forgotten. Will she need a heated room, and constant supervision for a while?
Any help now so I can prepare for her homecomming would be great. |

Are they doing the surgery today, and she's coming home tommorrow? She should appear tired but not groggy. She'll be uncomfortable for a couple of days - and depending on the dog she might be soocky.

I guess this is a little late (Sophie is probably home already) When we had our older dog spayed she had to be carried into the house...We lay her with her blankets in her favorite resting spot and let her rest...She had one accident because of being groggy...
