no she looks healthy for a gsd, you dont want alot of weight on them when they are growing and thier joints are still developing.

She looks good! Gretta has that same girlish figure and the vet says she just right. They live longer and healthier if they aren't packing to much weight for their size.

She is thin, but I am not sure she is too thin. Did you every have her checked by the vet? I know you are worried that she is not gaining weight. I think once her health is ruled out as a reason you will feel better.

She is not too thin.. she is FINE! You dont want a overweight gsd and you want her on the thin side anyway, no reason to risk her hips since you dont know her background and if her parents were cleared for hips.

Compare her pic to the one of jaia and you will see she is at the ideal weight. She isnt a aussie.. GSD's dont have the same body type.

Looking thin is all relative. Does an ideal whippet look thin? Yes, but that's how they should be. Does an ideal English Bulldog look thin? Heck, no.

Being thin is different. Being thin is looking thin in relation to standard or ideal. Bella isn't thin.

she looks fine but I cant say for sure from that picture, I need a good side view to know. It all depends on the muscle mass they have. If they have very little then yes they are too thin if they have normal to very defined then they are in good shape. Just make sure to keep her on a high quality food and work her a lot and she should be fine!
