Concerning symptom towards end of pregnancy

Starting note. Not my dog, Im posting this for a friend and she has already spoken to a vet, and they said not to bring her in yet and just wait.

She is due in about a week and she has slime coming out of her special place. She said it is very thick mucus, almost clear but has a slight yellow ting uppon inspection, she had an x-ray and ultrasound about a week and a half ago and was estamated 40-45 days, and she said she has no signs of labor or any kind of distress.

So any helpful knologe would be greatly appriciated!

One of my fosters did the same a week maybe more before she delivered and all was fine. I had read that happens right before whelping but I guess sometimes it happens a week or so before.

Check the "sticky" section of the breeding help for possible additional help with this before the dogs vet visit.

Alot of pregnant dogs have that discharge for the last few weeks
