So, I was out of the office yesterday since we were moving to our new location and decided to give the shelter a call since I didn't have access to my e-mail. Apparently a rescue is supposed to pick her up this week. I'll call them again on Saturday just to be sure they got her. Our shelter is not a no-kill shelter and it just breaks my heart. They couldn't tell me what rescue had contacted them but I'm just so happy someone is going to take her out of there! It would have caused a huge fight when I showed up at the house with her if they were going to put her down. Glad I don't have to do that.
 Yeah for rescues!
