Chesapeake Bays - I need help choosing a pup
Hi, My question is supposed to be in fun. I'm getting a new puppy and I am excited. (So nobody has to get real serious when answering this post.
 )I am purchasing a show/field puppy. I want a quality dog even though I am not going to seriously show her. From the entire litter of 11, I have narrowed it down to 2 pups. dog 1 has a quality coat........................dog 2 has an average-qlty coat dog 1 has good bone............................dog 2 is comprable dog 1 is dark brown solid.......................dog 2 is dark brown w/star on chest dog 1's head is an 7-8 of of possible 10.....dog 2's head is a 10, it's fantastic. Dog 2's head is very doggy looking. It's very boxy and ears are set just right. There is nothing I would change on her head. Best little head I've seen on a female in a long time. Dog 1's head is up there; it's boxy too, maybe not quite as dog 2's, and the ear set is just a hair lower than dog 2. Both of these dogs are equal in conformation, temperment, and retrieving potential. So, which dog would you choose based on these comparisons? I can't decide. Like I said, I am not seriously competing, but I want a nice family dog overall. I NEED SOME DIRECTION!!!!!! Thanks for any light you might can shed.

I would choose Dog 2 if I were you. I wish you had pictures.
