Schnauzers - Don't you just love them!

"Helmut" is my 5 yr, almost 6 yr old baby. He has been a great pet. He is extremely athletic and he loves to chase a ball.

He is really a one person dog, but he likes everybody and he is a friend to ALL dogs, especially strays. But, guess who he loves most in this world and could never live without?

In just a couple of weeks he is going to have a sister - a chesapeake bay. I know they will just love each other!

He sometimes thinks he guards the horses for me - so I let him think he's big and bad even though he's really a push over!

What a cute dog! It was so sad on the news here the other night. I guess this woman took her male schnauzer (sp?) to the vet to get something little done ( I don't remember what but it was like nails clipped or something). When she got him back.... the vet had fixed him!!! Can you imagine that? Hopefully she didn't have to pay for it!

Nice looking dog. He is a mini Schnauzer right? But no fair about the horses. I've been dreaming of having one since I was a littler girl...now I'm almost 20 years old and still don't have one.
