redbone coonhound

I found a little redbone coonhound at the local pet cetera. He had such bad happy tail. After a few days of me getting in touch with a few hound rescues. I'm happy to say he was adopted. He was pretty much untracable as petfinder didnt have him on there, nor did the humane society on their website. He was so beutiful, wish i could have had him. but at 6 months, and already about twice the size of blaze and being only 7 months old wouldnt have been great at the moment, so I did the next best thing. Emailed my fingers off lol. I can see why people love rescueing so much. it is rewarding. even though I really didnt have him,in my home, it is still rewarding to get him in a home. He was so sweet, i visited him with Blaze almost daily (It was ont he way home fromt he dog park any way, and he lvoed to see blaze. They played through the bars of the cage lol)

Thats awsome! It is rewarding even trying. I have been trying to get some dogs out of my local shelter in rescues and it has been very rewarding.

That's so awesome of you to go the extra marathon to help that pup!
Many think they can"t help if they can't foster, sooo untrue!
We have a couple of people in our rescue network that do only email distribution to get word out and sometimes help transport. Many kudos to you!
