Another story for the idiot chapter

I went down to the city shelter today, never a pleasant place, but today was exceptionally hard.

There was a pitbull in there that was picked up by an ACO. By looking at the dog there were the obvious issues. He was thin and very scared. This one was different, he had some wounds on him, and a very swelled toe, he also had what looked to be a fracture that healed wrong.
The disgusting thing was EVERYONE of this dogs teeth were filed down to nothing!
Poor guy was used as a bait dog.

And the person/s who did this get off scott free. I hope that poor little man gets a great home or at least a kind, loving hand to help him over the bridge when it's time.

Now where are my torches and pitch forks so I can go and find the scum bags who do this stuff.

I am steaming reading this. Couldn't Pit Bull Rescue take this poor guy? Do you think he would have a better chance of adoption?

Condolences on your experience.
I appreciate the qualities that make pitties the great dogs they are, but there is little that humans cannot distort for gratuitous enteretainment

There is a deep, and unfillable hole in some people.

Not sure rescue can take him, they are always so full. But, the woman who runs rhe pitbull resacue screens ALL applications on pitbulls from the shelter.

I could easily lock someone like that up for the rest of their life, and let them be beat up by the bullys in jail, breaking their legs, and starving them... It would be too easy for me to do that... Haven't we all dreamt of being that judge and jury at one time??? Wish we had that power...

Sometimes, I really want to start adopting Pitbulls. It's so hard for them to find homes, and this way I know that they'd be under the care of a good owner - not one who might give the breed a bad name. As much as I want to, I know they're not the breed for me.
