Young Pit Bull Male Looking For Home!
I know of a young pit bull male pup (probably 4 or 5 months old), who the owners got, realized they had to pay $250 extra a year, and got rid of. Now the lady who took him in is trying to rehome him, because she can't handle a Pit, I guess.
I would take him in a heart beat, he's cute, and looks well put together (He's by no chance a BYB's pup), and the only problem *I* can see with him, is his ears, and that he's under weight, with no muscle, but my mother is someone who is dead set that Pit bulls are evil... I've tried to get her to change her mind, but after Bella's aggression and her first opinio on GSDs, she won't listen. He's a reverse brindle (Dark brindle? We call it reverse), intact I think, and bought from a breeder in Maine... His name is Thor... I haven't had a chance to go get pictures of him yet, but I will, eventualy. Please, tell your friends, family, or anyone you know with Pit experience about him! PM me if you want more info! Shay |

if hes from a breeder the breeder should be contacted they may have a contract stipulation to get him back

It is sad, but what's worse, is that the last dog the people who bought him had was a GSD, and the neighbors poisened him! So, Thor is in a safer place now, at least.

Contacting them would be the first place to go.Or an APBT rescue. |

Any breeder that sells pups they are the first one that you should contack before you do anything with the pup. I know that they should be the one to take the pup back. If that say NO then they are not a very good breeder. I rather take one back then for them to give it to someone that might not take care of the pup.

I know, and I'm going to mention that to her, but honestly, if the breeder sold to someone who didn't know if they could have a pit within City limits, then they aren't a good breeder. I was just saying, the dog isn't poorly bred. Like, it's a nice dog, not a terrible comfrimation dog, etc.
I'll talk to her... I honestly think the Son would like to keep him. The son, who is probably 19, wants to come watch Obed. with us, and really shows an intrest in the dogs, more so than any other 19yo I know... But since the son is 19 and living at home, he doesn't have a choice in the matter, really. |
