What's in your dog's First Aid Kit? Do you have one, and if not, why not? Do you think a First Aid Kit is important to have in your car? home? elsewhere?

I have mine in my car, as that is where I am normally, and I like to have it at dog shows. It is pretty much the same as a human first aid kit, but I have liquid benadryl in case of a bee sting. And I always have muzzles that fit each of my dogs, because you never know how a dog is going to react if they are in a lot of pain, and if I am doing rapid care, I do not to want to worry about me or anyone helping me getting bit.

Having liquid benaryl is a really good idea. I'll have to add that to my kit.

I am a bad dog mommy, I do not have one I appreciate you posting this, I have been saying I am going to buy one but never did...this is top on my pet store list this week. What should it include? Where is the best place to purchase?

It's even more important if you have a dog that likes to chase bees!

I think I'd like to add an extra collar and a muzzle to mine and one of those folding water bowls.

I have a first aid kit at home and in the car (sometimes in my rucksack depending on how far we're walking) and always take one with me when we go away on holiday. It has:

benadryl,
aloe vera gelly,
wound dressings,
vet wrap,
tweezers,
cotton wool,
scissors,
gloves,
syringe,
arnica in the one in the house (now I've found it!)

I'll also take other thing with me on holiday which are necessarily first aid such as nail clippers, shampoo etc.

I didn't know ProDog had a First Aid Kit. I'm going to go take a look see!
