Helping our dogs indoors!

Ok so further to my message on Bruce hurting his paw it got me interested in what people stock indoors for their pets first aid kit.

So how examples from you all as to what you stock in your pets first aid kit and what it is used for.

In my kit i onloy have stupid things cause i always go to the vet! but here goes.

pink bandage - self explanatory

Exmarid ointment - soothes and protects dry, damaged or broken skin

plastic sock - for when they have hurt themselves, keeps bandage protected

tick remover tool - SE

plaster - not sure, to keep bandage together i think (vet gave it to me)

vet wrap - same as above??

as from tomoz sudocream - for cuts (i think)?

see pathetic!!!!

Both home and emergency kit have the same items here. My only problem is DH keeps trying to help clean and moves things *rolls eyes* from their "proper" place. .

WOW!!! I have that same problem my hubby decided to help me clean and now i have to get a new set of papers from the CKC which is going to cost me $50 because hubby moved them from there proper spot..

Anyway to answer the op I always keep:

Betadine
Vet wrap (Purple for girls Blue for boys)
Silver nitrate sticks- stops bleeding Fast (on contact)
Quick stop -for when I get those nails too short
Hemostats -very handy for spear grass
Bandages of all shapes and sizes
hand disenfectant -in case I'm not by soap and water

Then I have a whole bunch of other stuff Needles, syringes, Feeding tubes, IV solution, Formula (always on hand keep it in the freezer) and the list goes on
