Ticks and fleas poll

Spring is there and ticks and fleas question is up on air.
What are using to prevent your dogs from those ugly creatures?
My mom is swearing, that she buys Frontline from the vet office, treat her cockers once a month – and their fur full of fleas!
I am using Frontline Plus – once a month; Heartgard® - once a month. It seems to works for my dogs. The website I am using is http://www.petsolutions.com
Orders come pretty quick in 2 or 3 days.
Where do you buy it? If any one can suggest the cheap, quick and reliable website?
Also I would like to treat my guys with some good rawhide. Can you recommend any good website for dog treats?

I use Advantage for fleas control and get it on line in bulk. It's a bill initially but comes to just over $6 a tube for med or large dog dose.
If I get a dog from the coutry with ticks, I use Frontline plus. I can find all these type of meds cheaper on line than any Vet even with their discount it was $12 a tube and a free one about every 10th purchase!

Also I guess these products might work really well on some dogs and not at all on others so find what works and stick with it.
Neither of my preferences work at all on my sisters Papillion but do work on the other dog and cats.

Your lucky your are able to get them on line Teresa. Many vets will not write a script for Heart Guard......With Front line do you need a script? I have always bought mine from the vet....aka...cha ching.

I have Frontline and Advantix on hand but only will use them when I see actual bugs, then alternate. Buy online almost anywhere and also at most brick and mortar pet shops.
I have Revolution for the cats but don't follow a schedule- I wait until I need it. Still a veterinary prescription.

Yes, I would love to know what company you use. With three big dogs and soon to be four I can handle saving a wee bit of money.

My dogs are on Sentinel for parasites both internal and external.

I believe it is the equivalent of Program & Interceptor together. None of them are on your list.
