What "human" medicine have you used on your dog?

All this talk about first aid kits got me thinking about human medicines that I've used with Poppy. I thought it would be great to share what "human" medicine you have used on your dog. All of these have been recommended or prescribed by my vet:

Arnica (tablet form for post op healing, sprains etc)
Benadryl (for stings etc - must make sure it is Benadryl only)
Evening Primrose Oil Capsules (for when she had a skin infection & her fur was in terrible condition)
Glucosamine (for when she gets older to help her joints)
Children's Cough Medicine (when she had kennel cough)
Valium (not mine! but it was the same form that you give to humans - this was for when she had an adverse reaction to the ACP anasthetic)
Vitamin K (when she had her blood clotting condition)
Aloe Vera Gelly (for loads of things from ear cleaner to cuts, scrapes etc)
Sudocream (again for sore skin etc)
Golden Eye cream (for sore eyes & minor eye infections)

Of course she also had "conventional" treatment for the skin infection, Kennel Cough etc but these are human/supplementary treatments that we've used as well.

Does your vet recommend anything like this or are they strictly prescription only people?

Pepto Bismol (med), Metamucil (supplement), and Hibitane (cleanser). I also keep benadryl on hand for them, but have never had to use it. That's all I can think of.

Unfortunately, it's been a long time since I've used it so can't remember the dosages.

The other thing I've used is Dramamine - up to 50 mg every 8 hrs for dogs

Also, Kaopectate for diarrehea - 1 ml per lb. every 2 hours - for dogs
