Found dog need some help
I got to work this morning and there was a dog running around it was all over the street and we didn't want it to get hit by a car or something so we brought it in. We called the pound to ask if any one reported there dog missing and no one is missing a dog. She is about 2 and she is spayed she looks well taken care of she looks like a heeler cross.
But my problem is I have small dogs she is really sweet but I don't know what to do with her I don't want her to hurt my dogs on purpose or by accident if she steps on one or try's to play to rough does any one have any suggestions? We Have No Rescue groups here only the pound

Thank you BC but I don't live in Calgary it's just the city everyone has heard of they have no idea where Lethbridge is..

I know where Lethbridge is.
 If you aren't willing to keep her until the owners are found, a rescue is the best bet. I think Sandvand is in Lethbridge (and participates in rescue)- try contacting her!

Sandvand on here is from there and thats where her rescue she works with is!

Don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind keeping her until the owners are found I just Can't I have puppies in the house that are not yet vaccinated then I have the other dogs it's just too much to have 8 dogs in the house one of which is larger. I have had her since 8 am and it is now 7:20 pm and she is locked in a room and I don't think it's fair I don't even have large breed food I feed small breed puppy food.
But I will contact sand and Moo I am surprised you know where it is alot of people don't

Just to update you all, I have talked to her and we are moving the dog tonight or tommorow and are going to find the owners, or adopt her! Thanks for the referral guys, we will take good care of the baby.

Sand just came and got her they found her a placement tonight until they can find the owners or adopt her I feel so bad I couldn't keep her here.
Poor Merlin is upset he is pouting now he thought we got him a new friend
