I posted not too long ago about our city shelter, and the overall bad condition. There was a new director we thought trying to make things better.

Well, all heck broke loose yesterday! 50 animals were euthanized! Most for no reason except a pay back to a few employees who were questioning a few things! I am so upset and disgusted! There was no reason for these animals to die!

A group of us were working VERY hard getting a lab/dobe mix a home, we had a few people interested in him, he was PTS, it upsets me so much! It takes ALOT of work for Doberman rescue to get a mix placed, and we had it almost wrapped up, until the SOB killed him!

Details are still coming in as to what will happen next, but its said as of Monday the director and assistant director will be gone.

Nobody gave the order, the director took it upon himself!

It just breaks me heart, it gives me nightmares.

Aw that totally stinks. I hope word gets out about what is going on there and something gets changed. Terrible.

DM besides going to the news you might want to contact the rescue groups in the area and get them behind you too. Start a petition for investigation of what's going on there.

That's a terrible and sad story!! How can there be such terrible people in charge? They must not have a caring bone in their body!
