Mekas noisy stomach!

I posted not too long ago about the noises Mekas stomach makes.

I just want to let everyone know I contacted the Vet about a week ago. He said it could be bile reflux. He said it usually occurs when their stomachs empty quickly. I currently feed twice a day. He suggested giving her a "snack" before bed. We have been on the snack program for about a week. So far so good. Her problem usually only happened about once a week. I will give it another week and let you guys know.

Any suggestions for tasty low fat snacks for dogs?

Fruits & vegtables are good. Ariel loves broccoli. You could also pick up a bag of lite (senior)dog food and keep just for that.

Excelent advice Dax. If your going to be giving out treats that often, its best you make into vegtables and fruits so atleast she benefits from them. Keep us updated. Before reading i thought it would be acid relfex. Whats bile? The acid in the stomach? Sorry, not very educated wihen it comes to dog health

I dont know if its acid, its the yellow yuck they throw up sometimes.
I definately need to watch the weight, I dont want a porky Princess!

Ya thats exactly what i was thinking in my head but i didnt want to say it. "do you know what bile is?" "yes that yellow c rap they throw up" im a delinquent leave me alone LOL

Mmm... Bile is yellow juice from the gall bladder.
