so my husband and I just bought a coonhound, she's all in all well behaved. At first she was really good about going outside ot go to the washroom an dholding it. Now all of a sudden she is peeing and pooping all over. no matter how many times we take her out, she just waits till we get home and goes at it. if anyone has any tips it would be helpful
Thanks

When you get home let her outside quickly before she does anything. If she keeps looking at you and acting strange then let her out again incase she is planning to do something. That's all I can think of for now, I'll tell you if anything else pops into my mind.

Are you saying that she's left inside all day and holds it? Then when you come home she lets it all go before you can get her out.

Is there someone who can come over midday and let the dog out to go to the bathroom?

Let us know.

I know this is a bit cruel but it is really one of the only ways you are going to be able to teach him. Well, you could keep her outside until she has done her business, this way she would learn that if she dosn't do it she can't go back inside. What do you think?

That's not going to teach her that she needs to go as soon as she gets out there. And some dogs would rather be outside. When you take her out, you should give her about 5 minutes. If she doesn't go, put her back in her crate. Wait a designated amount of time if she's young 15-30 minutes at the most. Take her back outside. If she doesn't go, keep doing this. Do not play with her while she's outside. For right now, she needs to understand that outside means she should go potty, not that it's play time.
