I first was on the all natural diet at first. Tryed Wellness Duck, and Natural Balance. I noticed Oscar would have trouble digesting it sometimes and would have terrible runs. I stopped with that because i hated the runs and it was really digging into my pocket! 63 bucks for a 20 pound bag! EEEEK!!! I then switched to Iams and found out the terrible news about it. And also found that Oscar would occasionally get the runs from it aswell. Guess the chemicals were too much for him. LOL. I then switched to Kibbles and Bits. I know it isnt the best but Oscar loves it and its less chemical based than Iams.

I feed Purina Dog Chow. Not the best food either, but it is the only food that keeps weight on Greta. And all three do just fine on it. Decent weight, nice coats and just fine stool.

I feed Avo Derm. It's GREAT... especially for Border Collies! It's for skin and coat, and has "avocado" in it (hence the name) to enhance their oils and what not. My dog loves it. It's considered premium food and has all natural ingredients. And the cost is about 36 dollars for a 40 lb bag. Which for my 37 lb BC it lasts a couple months. I feed once a day 1 1/2 cups.

Gotta admit, I haven't heard good things about Old Roy.

Innova is a good, quality, high energy food. Nearly 2000 calories/cup, which why I switched off of it. Was way too much, for my little guy to take, even though he has a moderately high activity level. The energy being shot into a naturally hyper dog... too much.
