Free Dog...

Hey guys... I have a dog looking for a home. He's a 3-4yr old red brindle Pit Bull. Male, neutered. I've had him about a year. Awesome dog. Loves kids, good with other dogs. He lives with a chi and a St Bernard, so he's good He will chase cats. He's good round the horses...... He goes riding & to shows with me. He has knows basic obedience, leads, is house broke and crate trained. Just an overall great doggie! Only reason he's looking for a home is b/c I started a new job and am working 12hr days. I ask that he go to a good home with a responsible owner and his AVID chip must be transfered to the new owners name.

You are right lots of people will take him and just be right out mean to him. would make sure that they are taking him because they want a pet to love and care for.

If you need to rehome your dog, please, please, please charge a fee. Something is only worth what someone pays for it... meaning if somebody picks him up for no charge, they might consider him disposable. Also, you might get plenty of people that pose as responsible pet owners that are looking for a bait dog, or labratory dog, dooming your dog to an unknown fate.

Have you considered all options such as a dog walker, or neighbor that might be able to help you and him out during the day?

I'm going to try to talk you in to keeping him. I know you think 12 hours a day working isn't fair to him but I think he'd rather spend less time with you than none at all.

A doggie door or an outdoor kennel might be a good solution to leaving him locked in the house. Imagine how wonderful it will be to come home to him after a long day of battling the world. He doesn't care if you just want to kick back and relax as long as he gets to be in the room with you.

Remember that we work to finance our lives and he is part of your life.

PERFECT!!!!!!
I'm so sick of "my new job" "new baby" "sudden allergies" excuses for getting rid of a family member. You're keeping the other 2 but not him?
Why oh why? Especially if he's as great as you say he is? If you've only had him a year at his age, he's been bounced before.
How fair is that to him???

There are doggy day care you know . I have worked 10 hours before when Casey was a puppy, believe me i know it's not easy working long hours when you have an energetic puppy at home. But it's doable i was lucky enough to have a next door neighbor who was nice enough to come over to check up on Casey and i have dropped him off at doggy day care before. There are other options that you can look into.

If you have to re-home him at least take him to a pitbull rescue because a shelter will just put him to sleep.

If i wanted or needed your approval, I would have asked for it. My post was simply to see if anyone was looking for a nice dog.

This isn't really the place for this type of ad.
