Swollen testicles?

I think Cooper's testicles may be swollen... I'm not sure, since my dogs have always been girls or already neutered males. He's not yet neutered (I'm waiting until he is 1 year old).
They seem to be large - I can see them from the back when he's standing, most of the time. They are rather hard and seem to be slightly red. One is in front of the other, but I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. I have pictures, but I can't upload them on this computer, so I have to wait a bit.
What could this be? Are they even swollen - in proportion to the body, is there a "normal" size for testicles?

How old is he?
Are you sure that they are not just getting bigger because he is getting older?
I want to see pics. then i might be able to tell a little more.
If you think it is not right then call the vet.

Thanks for the link... His testicles are MUCH bigger than what is pictured there. And no, it's not just because he's excited... They are also not in the right place?

He is 11 months... no, I'm not sure if it's not just because he's getting older, that's why I asked. I posted pics, I hope that helps...

It looks to me that it is where he is getting to be amost 1 year old. They look ok to me for his age.
