I have a question about my dog.

can I feed my dog boiled chicken liver with her food? is it good for her? it has iron and protien

What kind of food are you feeding? Depending on that, she may not need extra iron or protein in her diet.

I agree. What breed and what age? If fed a good diet then your pup shouldn't really need the extras.

Feeding it raw is better but boiled can be done as well.

I feed raw and liver is a part of what I feed. I do not feed it more then 4 times a months as the Vit A content can become too much for the dog. Vit A is a non-soluable vitamin, meaning the body stores it and in high quantities it can become toxic.

It is hard to gauge how much Vit A is in commercial dog foods as the levels vary from brand to brand and they do not have to cleary mark that in the analysis.

Small chicken livers should to pose a problem. So go ahead and give them just do it occassionally not all the time.
