Weim Rescues!
I spent my Memorial Day with a couple of Weim's that were sprung from a high kill shelter in Kansas and headed for new homes in Vancouver Canada!
I picked them up in eastern WA and traveled north to their last drop off point. This weekend they traveled 2200 miles in 3 days!!! What an amazing group of volunteers! Especially in light of gas prices and it being a 3 day holiday weekend for many. I brought Oliver along for company there and to navigate.  It was beautiful most of the trip  Finally! We meet Quinn the lighter female and Norris the very dark very large male! Very beautiful and very nice dogs!!!!  Norris says: Just give me a bully stick and I'll be fine!  Nap time again! lol  Quinn is the sweetest girl!!! I can't believe she ended up in a shelter!  Quinn has such sad eyes, almost hound-like but such a dollface!  Finally near the border!!! One adopter and one rescuer met us there.  Me and my new friends saying so long... best of the rest of your lives!  I was very happy to have been able to help them on to a whole new life where they now have a the opportunity to live out a full loved old life!

Great job! 2200 miles in 3 days....that was pretty amazing. The Weims are simply beautiful. So glad you were there to help out. You are an angel in disguise!

so glad you were able to help these beautiful kids move on to their real lives...and ill take the mr. o navigation system any day of the week

WOW girl, firstly - gorgeous dogs - I'm with you how could they end up in a shelter
 Next...OMG you are some driving lady!! That's a jaunt, and bless you for taking the time to bring these two beauties to their new safe haven. All Paws Xed that the male finds his forever home soon. You are truly a jewel. Oliver looks like he's smiling and certainly up for the task

What beautiful babies. So happy you were able to help them. My brother had a weim and he was just a doll. Great job!

Wow, the dogs AND you are BEAUTIFUL!
I'm SO PROUD of you and those dogs look SO HAPPY! I wish I could rescue every single dog in every single shelter. GREAT job and GREAT pics.

These are such beautiful dogs. How cool that everyone worked together for these precious animals.
