Black & Tan coon hounds

My friend in Hardyville, KY who does lab rescue is helping her vet place 10 black and tan puppies. Their mom was dumped at his office when her family found out she was heartwork + they wanted her pts. He ask them to sign her over so he could treat her and find her a home. 30 days after she was in his care she sacked up with milk. Now there are 10 babies who need homes.

If anyone knows a rescue who can help place them or familes who are looking for a big, dopey love bug. They can check out WWW.lablover.org

They are adorable. I will see if my rescue contact knows of any homes waiting.

And that Callie Bear looks like such a doll and the hairdo on Forest Muy Cute.

Thanks everyon. Daux, Lori did talk to the national black and tan rescue, who said they would be happy to help. But that was 4 weeks ago when they were just born and now they won't return her calls or emails. So we're looking at other options for placing them. There is one little bitch that was born with one eye missing. I have a feeling she will be hard to place.

AD Callie is a sweet girl, I think she'd make a wonderful service dog. She's very attentive and is able to tune in to people easily. And Forest is just Forest. He is the last on left from a littler of 5 who Lori took in from a lady trying to help a stray dog. He's very soft and is a tryer. He doesn't like to get in trouble.

That's just so awful, breed clubs are *suppose* to support their breed - I know in the GSDs that in Cali during the 90s of all the rescue members I was the *only* one who would actually *TAKE* a rescue; the secretary lived there, like me also had a full kennel set up, and did she? Nope, she'd refer to me!

Just makes me so blazing ANGRY!

Daux don't get me started about breed clubs and their lack of willingness to do rescue and foster. I had a great bumper sticker on one of my trucks that said "If you won't rescue, then DON'T BREED!" and that is how I feel about it exactly. If you won't even help your own beloved breed then why on earth would you make more.

There is a lady here in Wisconsin that does B and T rescue. I was looking in to fostering for her but that was before I knew I was pregnant. I will see if I can find her contact information at home. See is involved with the national breed club so she may know of contacts in your area.
