My mom has decided to become a foster parent!
So I have been fostering for a few months now and I have finally talked my mom into joining me! On Saturday she will pick up her first foster ever, a dachshund named Turbo. Turbo was taken to the pound after his owner died, at 7-8 years old he was intact and heartworm positive. But he's been fixed, went through HW treatment and his just as wonderful as could be, loves to fetch and play with toys. I am so happy for my mom, and for Turbo!

She is still fostering/thinking about it with her. She worries its not a good time financially to take on another dog so she's still deciding. She loves her like crazy though, it'll be hard on her if/when she is adopted.

Oh, Turbo is so cute. I am happy that your mom decided to do this. By fostering a dachshund, she is guaranteed to be entertained and she better be up for belly rubs!

Congrats! I am such a huge advocate of helping those in need and also adopting pets, so MAJOR brownie points to you and your mom! She is completing such a wonderful service to a sweet little dog, for his future owner, and to the community.
