yup, my 10 month old male black lab pees like a girl. he is not altered yet, gonna be his B-day present, so why hasn't he started to lift his leg when doing his business?

Peabody squats too-I thought he was just copying Doxie, because he can't raise his leg, but Peabody was out this afternoon and just squatted down. He is altered though.

My sister's 2 year old Lhasa only lifts his leg when he hangs out with Buddy!

I asked this same question when my little lab boy was younger! He's a year old today and just started lifting his leg 1 - 2 months ago. If it happens, it happens - if it doesn't, it doesn't.

Some of them are over a year old when they start to lift their legs. It all depends.

Be grateful he isn't lifting his leg yet. Our male didn't start lifting his leg until tonight....both times he peed on my husband.

One of our males squatted like a girl until about 3...suddenly he started lifting. Granted he was raised with mostly bitchs, but *all* of them raised a leg to wee! LOL
