Anyone tried Ear Clear?

I've been trying a homeopathic ear cleaner called Ear Clear. It has hydrosol of witchazel and essence oil of lavender it it.

It doesn't seem to be working near as well as what I was using previously which was conofite-beta-gentomicin.

I always use Virbac's Hexadene Flush to clean them first, regardless of which one I use.

The previous stuff, the conofite-beta-gentomicin would keep his ears clean for 2-3 weeks. The new stuff, the Ear Clear, only lasts about 3 days before the reddish, gunky stuff starts to come back.

Has anyone used any of these things?

The homeopath told me it's better to stop using the conofite, but I can't remember why. I'll have to ask again.
