Meals Off-Kilter

Kirby generally eats a meal around 6-7 AM then a meal to 6-7 PM. Recently, he's been resisting his breakfast, then wanting to eat around 1 PM. And I've been letting him do this because I know with the energy he burns running around, and just his little body, he gets sick if he doesn't eat for a day. He doesn't even sit on his mat to wait, then reject it. He comes in from his morning pee, looks at me, making his breakfast, and heads straight to play.

I haven't really changed any of his habits. If anything, he's been getting more excercise, since I'm on break, so he should be more hungry.

Hoping it's just a passing phase?

its probably a phase. I wouldnt worry too much unless he is off his food altogether.

Annoying butt, I don't want him to be making a habit out of this.

It's against my training to let him choose his meal times. I geuss I'd rather give in a bit, than be cleaning up his vomit lol

Moo, if he doesnt want the food when you give it to him. Just take it up about 15 mins later untill next meal time. Eventually his old schedule will kick into place again.

Better on the eating, he ate both his meals today... but he puked this morning before he ate.

He's still acting pretty weird, (see my other thread in training). If he wasn't a male, and a fixed one at that, I'd think he was pregnant.

It might be time for a vet consultation. Kirby is too young to be going thru the change of life and too much boy to be "knocked up" LOL

Maybe the manufacturer changed the formula of the food?

What until you see the photos I took earlier. lol Kirby will be ruined

We haven't had to buy new food or treats recently. He hasn't eaten anything different. It's so strange. But if I turn him on, all the energy is still there.

Blackmail photo's ... aww but they are so cute !

I bet Kirby's eating habits are just going through a phase or maybe he was feeling a little under the weather. Just like us they get a little sick from titme to time.
