Ashton Blue Dobie

I'm thrilled to say that Ashton was adopted last night! He went to a guy who has an enormous fenced back yard, dobie size doggie door and a blue female dobie! They did great and I already have a wonderful report of him settling in well in the house!

To recap: He had never been in a house before. His former owner dropped him off at a 6 kennel shelter and told them to find him a good home. He was the oldest resident and was getting the blue juice when our newest volunteer ran down an hour before his time was up and snatched him out of the shelter and brought him to me. He's such a nice boy too!

Meet his new family.

First Ashton when he first arrived

And now His coat and body look sooo much better now! Amazing what good regular meals of an appropriate amount, excersize, the protection of a home and lots of attention can do for a dog!

This is his new Dad and sister Pasha. Doesn't he look so happy already??!! Pasha really was happy, just didn't reflect it in this pix is all.
