Offering Transport Services

Soon ( a few weeks) I will be traveling from New Hampshire to South Carolina, I will definitely be stopping in:

Connecticut
New York (45 mins from city)
Virginia Beach

And am willing to take another friendly, vet checked, UTD dog on it's way to a new home. My dog Moxie will be traveling with me the whole way, she is a 20lb rat terrier. Please keep in mind my car is small (a Mitsubishi lancer) but we will have room for another small dog.

PM me or post here if there's a dog in need of some wheels.

Have you contacted any of your local rescue groups? They're often in need of someone to fill in a leg for transport.

Yup I've been sending messages left and right, haven't gotten anything yet. So decided to go global...so to speak.

That is so selfless. I haven't heard of many others offering a service like this. God bless and reward you!

they posted on the volunteer page of the rescue I got Moxie from as well, another dog her size should fit just fine, but depending on pick up drop offs we could take more than one dog. I figure as long as I'm traveling I might as well have some friends with us! My mom of course thinks I'm nuts, but it's part of the adventure right?

I've been doing some transporting lately too. There are national networks and regional networks you can contact. Ask the rescues in the area for contact info. I don't know if it's publicized.
It's mostly all they do is set up transports so they have the needs of the dogs and the destinations too.

Hope you get some great riding companions!~
