Harper
We finally have him eating something. It took a long time for him to trust us enough to have him drop his head and eat. I have him on boiled brown rice, chicken breast and some shredded beef in broth. No dog food for him for a while until he gets back to eating normally. He eats a small amount (maybe 1/4 c ) four times a day.
He's beginning to show his personality now and is a very loving boy. He's not confrontational with any of the fosters (except Sam) or my three. They get along fine. But Sam rolled him within the first five minutes after I let him in to the community rather than have him blocked off in the kitchen. Bad Bad Sam!
There is a family that is interested in him right now and the lady will call me on Sunday to find out how he's doing. We discussed his not wanting to eat and she thought that it would be best to give him a few days to acclimate to my household before he had another stress with company coming over to see him. (these are the kind of people I love to adopt to). If they like what they see he will be adopted out from my home. He's ready to go. Shots, neuter, microchipped and h/w negative.
