Took Titus to the vet!.

Titus had an on/off oozing(blood+dirrihea) buttom so took him to the vet,to be checked out!.
Vet said it was probably due to stress + different schedule cos nothing else really showed up!.
Never expected that to be the reason even though BM mentioned it!.
What can i say,he's a Mommy's boy!.
He is on antibiotic for a week to clean up whatever could be wrong and if still oozing by Monday,on to x-rays!.
she, also said that there was a stomack bug going around, for dogs(so anyone, living in Florida, keep an eye on yr dogs) so he was put on Metronidazole 500mg,2 tablets a day for 7days!.L

You scared me there for a minute, I thought he was having balance problems again. Poor Titus, hopefully his meds will start to work soon.

Thanks for the heads up about the Florida stomach bug

Well I was hoping that it would clear up on its own but glad he went to the vet. Stress can cause a few problems. And of course- he missed his Mom..

He was on antibiotics and once they were finished,he started oozing blood, again!.
Today, braught a stool sample to see if they can find anything!.His stool has been pretty muchy,on & off, since I came back from France. The sample was sent out and I should get the results, tomorrow!.I wonder if it could be coccidia!.

It could very well be Laurie the stool sample will prove or disprove that. Also ask your vet about flagyl...

If it's Coccidia you don't want flagyl.

Flagyl (metronidazole) is only good for bacterial overgrowth and giardia.

Hope the lab can find something in his poo! And hope he is back to normal soon. You might want to try adding probiotics to the food?
