I need help!

My adorable dog is limping and it bleeds sometimes. A couple days ago, he was limping so bad that a couple of days ago he couldn't come to breakfast. Poor baby. We took him to the vet and he gave us some pills. He is doing a little better but STILL limping. Any help, advice, or nice words would be great.

I've moved this to Health since it's not really a breeding question

You should investigate why his foot is bleeding - does he keep catching it, is there a tumour or open wound?

His pads could be ripped, did you look at them? Buddy rips his on occassion from rough surfaces, etc. Polysporin helps.

Just a question for you.. why is your Vet not advising you ? He is the one that looked at and prescribed for the dog.

Yes, I did look at his pad, but it doesn't just bleed once. It bleeds every 2 or 3 days.
I forgot to mention this before, but he is a little bit over weight-could he be putting too much weight on his foot?

he is probably ripping it on something or something is caught in his pad. ask the vet. He should be telling you what is going on.
