Question Ichy skin, now we got sores

well, heres the thing. about a month ago we took our girl camping (a near 2 year old yellow lab named Fey). i forgot to get her new supply of frontline before we left, and of course....she got fleas. we gave her a bath to get rid of the fleas, were told to wait a couple days after that to put the frontline on, but she has been constantly itching since we got back from the wild outdoors. i now that some of it is dry skin....but does anyone know another way to help stop the problem. she doesnt have fleas. and i hate to have to keep taking her to the vet for shots.

You may want to try an Oatmeal Shampoo.

Sounds like she has a flea bite allergie. Call your vet and ask them how much benedril you can give her. Then clean the spots with witch hazel, let it dry a few seconds , then power the spots with gold bond powder. This will keep them clean and kill the itch. Along with the benedril she should have some comfort.
