Thumbs down 2 sick dogs, PLEASE read

Hello everyone, long time no post. I haven't been coming on because, well, Sai's been doing great. Until yesterday...

I have two dogs here, Simon and my sister's dog Maggie, who lives with me while my sister is in an apartment. Maggie and Simon get the same food, go on walks together, and are always supervised outside so they didn't eat anything- at least, nothing like poison or poo or something.

Wednesday: Maggie threw up. Lost her appetite, lethargic, just not feeling good all day. She threw up clear mucus-like stuff, a little foamy.

Thursday: Maggie is fine, Simon is sick. Same symptoms as Maggie.

Friday, today: Both of them are have thrown up, they won't eat (understandable), and they are lethargic.

No temps, feces is normal, no blood in vomit. When should I get worried about this? Do dogs just get sick sometimes? I'm not liking this in particuar because they both have whatever it is. They haven't been around strange dogs, no change in routine or diet.

Thank you very much, I'm pretty concerned for them.

How are the color of their gums? Also would you know if they drank any pond water or water that was standing still outside?

The only way to know what the potentials are is to visit you vet.
Good luck and please keep us posted.

Thank you guys for looking. Maggie started having really loose stool with a fair amount of blood in it last night, so I took them in to emergency. Four hours later, so about midnight, they were released. The vet thinks it's either giardia (less likely) or coccidia. They're on some meds for a few days, had some anti-nausea stuff and fluids last night, but today they both ate a bit and seem much perkier.

Poor Sai, he thought I took him back to the pound. Quite the way to spend his one year adoptiong day!
