I am soo soo stupid

We had a bunch of Canidae Platinum food that just recently passed the sell by date so we had to pull it from our shelves.

I donated to the animal services. 5-35 lb bags, and 16 bags of 4# snap biscuits as well as some boxes of cat food samples(120 packs) not expired, we just won't go through before they do.

Well that is not the stupid part. The stupid part is that I decided that while I was there, I would go ahead and walk through and look at who was there. I made it to the first crate before I start balling.

I have no right walking back there. Why do I do it. Stupid, stupid, stupid

The first two I pass, a 5 month old boxer and a 10 month old black lab

I they also had a 1 year old yellow lab and a 5 month old pointer

About 20 pitties.

As I was leaving though, a lady walked in coming to adopt the boxer, so ysy for the little munchkin.

Awww.. It's so sad to see isn't it? The young ones I don't feel as bad for it's likely at least where I am that they'll be adopted out within a month, it's the older ones that tear my heart to pieces.

It was good of you to donate that food though, I'm sure they'll put it to good use!

It is so tough going there isn't it. Like Diamond said, I usually feel pretty good that the young ones will be lucky, but the older ones don't have much hope without special angels.
