There is "walking dandruff" affects puppies 2 - 12 weeks. Dry flakes over head, neck and back - Mild itching.

You should use an oatmeal based shampoo formulated for dogs. Also Alpha-keri bath oil (1 teaspoon per quart) in final rinse or commerical dog conditioning rinse.

It could be your dog food as well. Sometimes an ingredient in the food can cause this. Also try adding some flax oil or fish oil to the diet for the essential fatty acids.

As mentioned I would also take a really good look at the pup's diet. For essential fatty acids I love using Hemp oil as it has the perfect ratio of Omega 3,6 and 9 fatty acids. Also feeding a raw diet of raw meat will give the perfect balance of amonia acids and omega's. I also feed sardines, wild alaskan salmon, raw meats, flax seeds (crushed), flax oil, hemp seeds (crushed), Hemp oil, and yogurt to help bring natural bacteria back to the gut.
Also as DaxAriel's Toy mentioned if you are going to rebath use a gentle oatmeal shampoo and make sure you follow it with a moisturizing rinse as this will help keep the oils in, cleanse the skin, and remove the dander.
Just to add, if you feed a commercial diet of kibble they have the proper amounts of vitamin A...if you feed a kibble diet don't feed cod liver oil supplements as they can cause a dangerously high level of vit A in the system. If you feed raw then cod liver oil is great to add to the diet.

Also, make sure you don't bath your pup/dog too often. This can strip the natural oils from the coat and cause skin problems. I see it all the time in my line of work. Also, if you bath make sure you get all the shampoo residue out of the coat...make sure the water runs clear off the dog.
Good luck

I've also heard that Omega 3 fatty acids and vitamin E help with dandruff. Where I live they have herbal, tea tree and oatmeal shampoo especially for dandruff.
Giving your pet regular baths will help wash the flakes away before they accumulate.
It is reccomended that you bath your dog once a month in winter and twice a month in summer. In some cases this could even clear up the problem for good.
But make sure to use warm water when bathing your dog and not hot water. Also make sure to dry your pet well.
Regular brushing and grooming your pet will help distribute natural
oils evenly over dry skin, which will help keep dandruff down.
Choose a brush that's gentle on your dogs skin too.
