Diamond needs a home

Diamond has been in foster care with me for a year. Her faimly had to move to Ohio for work, she went with them and after having the police called on them every day for a year made the choice to move their family again . So while they were looking for a new set of jobs in a new state she came to stay with me. Well after 11 months of looking husband found a job in FL, we all know there are so many breed bans in FL these days. So her family made the hard but right choice and asked me to find her a new home.

Diamond is a 7ish year old APBT, she's spayed, up to date on shots and an all around very good girl. She's wonderful with other dogs loves little ones, she had a puggle brother for a while before she had to leave. She has never had any issue with food, toy or space garuding. She's crate trained but is great free in the house. She's not met a stranger yet in my care. She's just an all around great girl.

I'm going to keep her here until she finds her right forever home. But I would love for her to find a home for Christmas.

Here are a few photos of Diamond and her friends.

Have you considered talking with any APBT rescues in your area to have them courtesy post her for you?

I would try not only the APBT rescues but others as well. The more exposure, the better for her. We've not had one inquiry on our gorgeous male or female we have in our rescue. They are really hard placements. That's why we will only have 2 and they have to be good ones. They also have to be taken in with the understanding that a home may never come for them as well. With housing and communities banning them everywhere, it's getting harder by the day for this breed.

I wish you the best success for her. She sounds like a true embassador.

I posted her on Petfinder and yes, I've emailed the local pit bull rescues and they haven't gotten back to me I'm going on 2 weeks now. I've also spoken to my vets as there are a few folks who work with pit bulls, so I'm hoping they will have a few leads as well. I figure the more folks who see her the more chances for her to get a home.

All the Pit rescues are PACKED!
If you want to e mail a guy named Eric and make her a SPBR dog he will list her on petfinder and put her through with his rescue as long as you keep fostering her.

In my county there is not a ban on Pitbulls either. I think Miami may be the only big city in my area with a ban, do you know where they are moving to in Florida?
