Somethings wrong with Daisy

Just a little while ago Daisy started limping and favouring her left hind leg. I have felt the leg and her back and she doesn't seem to feel any pain and isn't sensitive anywhere. She is definitely not herself all of a sudden. She always has her chewy at this time and she has no interest in it - she is just lying down with no enthusiasm for anything - like treats. She is 4 1/2 years now - mini dachshund. It is impossible to keep her from jumping on the furniture and the only thing I can think of was that she must have jumped off the bed she was on. I will take her to a vet tomorrow (we are on vacation in Arizona) but wonder if anyone has any ideas what could cause that without having pain. I am so worried about her. As I say she isn't in pain but seems to know she has a problem by being almost listless.

Thank you for any input!!

Definitely get her to the vet as it could be numerous things.
Not sure about your area and how warm or cold it is but the first thing that comes to mind is Lymes; unexplained lameness and lethargy are some symptoms of it.

Lack of observable pain is never reliable in animals- it is their nature to conceal weakness, as weak equals expendable (and often edible) in the animal world.

Please let us know what the vet says!

Cearbhaill - Daisy saw the vet today and you are absolutely correct. Fortunately Daisy is going to be fine - it is sort of a strained ankle or whatever little doxies have. The Vet said that hiding the pain is a natural thing to do in most cases (if it isn't too intense as a defense mechanism) She just winced a little. I wasn't too worried later last night when I saw the swelling so I knew it was something more minor. I have heard so many stories about Doxies and bad backs that I was afraid she had done something to injure her back. Thanks to you and reyven for your concern.

Poor little girl, you have to build her a ramp so she does not jump
