Male dog problem

Doc is not neutered though at this point we're pretty sure we will. We were keeping him to grow out for showing however with these two problems I don't think it is a good idea.

Problem #1

One of his testicles keeps slipping out of place and going back into the abdomen. It's out of place more than it's in place.

Problem #2 My biggest concern

The one that stays in place is noticibly larger than the slipping one, when they are both in place. He is only 8 months old. This is very concerning. It seem unusual that a dog his age should have this problem. I don't know much about unneutered dogs. The males I've had have all been neutered. Oliver was cryptic, Benji came already neutered, and Martin was normal.

I am brining him to the vet ASAP, just need to make the call in the morning. I do worry a lot but this is something that really concerns me.

Little poop head, always has to be something new.

Speak with your breeder before you do anything. They will want to know that cryptorchidism exists in the line.
You can do "stretching exercises" for a retractile testicle, but I agree that at this age it should have been down for good for a good long while.
As far as the size difference- some is ok and normal. A lot says that the one is atrophied, which generally does happen when they are retained.

If neutering is in his future I would just go ahead and do it, as a retained testicle can torse and become a surgical emergency.
