Noelle needs help

This is Noelle, a GSD/Sheltie mix at the local animal control who they have discoverd is prego.
I have decided in rescue I want to focus on the medical challenged. Like Lady Rose, and Darci I have had, just to name a few.
My issue is my stupid work schedule, I only work 14-16 days per month, but I work 12 hour days. Every other weekend I am off Fri-Sun. I really want to help her, but I am concerned with my work schedule. I would have to find someone to come over the days I am working to look in on her.
I also have a bit of time I can take off should I need to with delivery.

Thoughts, ideas??

You know I wish I could! Do you have a rescue network email you can shout out to? That's often how I get help or offer help to dogs. We've got a pretty big network here.

Another idea is to contact all the rescues in the surrounding area that you can find on petfinder and ask if any will help her. That's probably what I'd do to start with.

Also, they are usually pretty self sufficient. I use 2 gallon free feeders for the Mom's with water and puppy food and for the first 4 weeks, she takes care of the babies. All I do is make sure her buffet is full and clean up the messes. I keep a tarp on the floor and tons of newspaper and potty pads down for her and them. It is a lot of work when they are starting to wean though. Separating them from Mom part of the time, making gruel, cleaning up, trimming nails, etc...
That goes on for 2 weeks and once they are 6 weeks and eating puppy kibble, I move Mom out to get her healing and drying up. Then the pups get free fed & watered, are confined and I just clean up everything until 8 weeks when they go for the big vet appt for shots, altering and micro chips. Then off to homes that hopefully have been approved between 4 & 6 weeks and met them at 6 weeks.

See, easy, cheesy

I gotta feeling I will be pulling her on Friday when I am off.

You need other rescue people, Vet techs, cops etc to help you out! They've been an enormous help with our new rescue!

I'll just swap you Cabella and the dirty dozen for Noelle if you want! They're getting weaned FAST! Tearing thier poor mama up! They'll probably be weaned fully in a week but I'll wait until they're 6 weeks (one additional week) to move Cabella out or the monsters out. I'm more than happy to send them to you!

How far along in her pregnancy is she??

I dont know how far along she is. I just got an email from the shelter saying another group was going to take her. I am fine with that. I will know for sure when I get home. If they dont come through I will take her. I put out a few pleas for help today, and did get a response already.

I will update later.
