Question It's always something-Denali UPDATE inside-info on hip dyspl. and arthritis needed

Denali has been limping for the past month - it seems to have gotten worse and not better . We have a vet appointment tonight at 4:00 - she's been acting a bit off and not eating very well (it's a struggle to get her to eat 1 1/2 cups food). Hopefully all will go well.

Loki has had a visit from the runny monster - hopefully the monster's stay has passed

Can't I get a break?

The running issue may be from extra goodies over the holidays. Mine did and I "tried" to be sparingly with the goodies. I failed, and they're all a tad loose now.. should be better by tomorrow.
At least there's still snow on the ground so I don't have to clean it up yet! hehe

Denali,
get better soon! can't have my girl under the weather!

Yeah - Loki has a sensitive tummy, so I'm guessing it's the extra treats and the ham he got. No big deal with him.

Denali is the one that has me a bit worried. She limps when she gets up from laying down and can usually 'walk it off' but it's been happening more and more for longer and longer.

You can see her hoping around in this video (and not coming to me as I asked her too - but she's good at ignoring me).

Come on! A Pyr good at ignoring? Say it isn't so!!!
I do hope Denali's visit goes well and it's nothing serious! The fact it's not gone all together after this much time is a little concerning... Poor baby!

Nallers, what have you done to yourself? Hope the vet reports something minor and she is feeling better soon. Keep us posted.

And hoping Loki's tummy is better soon too! In fact, DH just reported that Yancey is outside eating grass right now so I guess he is a little off too!

Eager to see what the vet said about Denali. Poor thing. She looked in pain.

Umm.. has anyone looked into torn ACL yet?! That limp looks very suspicious to me!!

Ruptured/torn ACL (or CCL) lameness looks a lot like that.. toe touching, but dangling the leg.

Yep....it's time for the vet Dig. That doesn't look good at all, but she did a wonderful job ignoring you! Please keep us up to date.

As for food wise here...no trots or runs but gas that will peel the pain off the walls!
