Curly coated border collie???

My friend has a purebred (registration papers and all) Border collie. This dog has a curly coat!!! She looks like a black and white sheep...

I didnt know border collies could have curly coats but obviously they can... Have you ever heard of curly coated Border collies???

I'll take some pics next time Im at her house so you can see for yourself...

Ok, found a really bad pic of her but you can kind of see her coat. I will still get better ones though... just something to keep you all going

Yes - I have seen these before. Some of them do have really kinky coats. Some especially as they get older. Is she older?

I have seen more like this at home in the UK - especially Wales - more than here.

most get curly coats as they get older, but there are curly coated BCs, they just are not very common.

This is Tip. She is my dog training instructors' BC. She isn't quite curlyy...just wavy.

(BTW, that's me with Tip in the second pic!)
