    Phantom pregnancy????

Poppy has been a nightmare over the last few days, trying to dig holes in the carpet, shredding boxes, licking her vulva and now whining almost none stop. She is at day 68 after the start of her first season - could she be having a phantom???

I'm seeing the vet tomorrow at the "Travel Clinic" so I'm going to ask his advice but any ideas???

I forgot to say, she's also panting intermittently - another sign I guess. I'll check with the vet and then try some of those homeopathic remedies tha Dax suggested in another thread.

So sorry to hear about Poppy. I bought Sharon a puppy when she went thru hers.
Not that I'd 'prescribe' that tho Hope all goes well with the vet, keep us posted.

    Update...

Poppy is not having a phantom - YET. She has to be producing milk for it to be considered a phantom and she isn't doing that at the moment. They think it's just her hormones... If she does have a phantom then they will give me some drugs to take her straight out of it - that's good to know.
